Open YouTube on your iPhone, find the video you want, tap Share, then tap Copy Link.
Go to blhole.com in Safari (or Chrome) and paste the video URL into the download box.
Tap Download. The file saves to your iPhone's Downloads folder in the Files app. That's it!
Apple doesn't allow video downloader apps in the App Store. That's why most "YouTube downloader" apps get removed within weeks. BlackHole is different — it's a web app that works in your browser.
No app to install, no app to get banned. Just open blhole.com in Safari, paste a link, and download. It works today, and it'll work tomorrow — because Apple can't remove a website from your browser.
Downloaded files go to your Files app → Downloads folder. You can also find them in Safari's download manager.
Check Safari's download manager — tap the ↓ icon in the address bar. Your file should be right there. If you used Chrome, check the Downloads section in the menu.
A 10-minute video at 720p is about 80MB. Before downloading a bunch of videos, check your iPhone storage in Settings → General → iPhone Storage.
Downloaded videos can be AirDropped to your Mac instantly. Open the file in Files, tap Share, and select your Mac. Great for watching on a bigger screen.
Once downloaded, videos play without internet in the Files app or any video player. Perfect for flights, commutes, or anywhere without WiFi.
