Since BlackHole Desktop is not yet notarized with Apple, macOS may show a warning saying the app is "damaged" or "can't be opened." This is normal for independent apps and does not mean the file is actually damaged.
To fix it, open Terminal and run:

macOS Gatekeeper blocks apps that aren't notarized by Apple. This is a security feature, not a real problem. Run the xattr command shown in the installation steps to fix it.

By default, videos are saved to your Downloads folder. You can change the save location in the app settings.
