Is this playlist length calculator free?▼
Yes — free, no account, no limits for normal use. Paste a link and you get the total instantly.
How accurate is the total?▼
Durations come straight from YouTube per video, so totals are exact. For extremely large playlists we count a large sample and clearly label the extrapolated remainder as an estimate.
Do private or deleted videos count?▼
No. Videos that can't be watched (private, deleted, or region-blocked entries) have no duration to add, so they're excluded from the total — which keeps it honest.
Does it work for course or podcast playlists?▼
Yes — any public YouTube playlist works: courses, podcasts, albums, mixes saved as playlists, or your own uploads playlist.
What do the playback speeds mean?▼
YouTube lets you watch at up to 2× speed. The table divides the total watch time by each speed so you can see, for example, that a 10-hour course is about 6 hours 40 minutes at 1.5×.
Can I download a whole playlist?▼
Yes — BlackHole Pro supports playlist downloads, picking the videos you want and grabbing them in one go. The free calculator works for everyone either way.
