BlackHole is a free SoundCloud to MP3 downloader that saves public SoundCloud tracks as MP3 files. SoundCloud hosts millions of tracks — from independent artists, emerging musicians, DJ mixes, and podcasts — that aren't available on Spotify or Apple Music. BlackHole lets you keep a copy for offline listening.
Downloads are 128 kbps MP3 at 44.1 kHz, the stream SoundCloud serves publicly. BlackHole saves that stream as-is rather than re-encoding it, so you get exactly what SoundCloud streams, with no added quality loss and no inflated bitrate.
BlackHole works with single public tracks, including DJ mixes and podcast episodes uploaded as a track. Playlists, sets, albums, and profile pages aren't supported yet, so paste the link of each track you want. SoundCloud Go+ exclusives and private tracks cannot be downloaded since they require authentication.
The downloaded MP3 files work on every device and media player: iPhone (Files app, VLC, or sync to Music), Android, Windows PC, Mac, car stereos, and any Bluetooth speaker. No internet connection needed after downloading.
